EU Warranty Ready

Katrangan

If you sell products with WooCommerce in the European Union, you shouldn’t have to check each product individually to find out what warranty information is missing.

EU Warranty Ready helps you do two things:

  1. Detect which products still need attention;

  2. Display official warranty information where customers actually see it.

Version Free 1.6.1 includes the official harmonized notice, all 24 EU languages, GARAN per-product configuration, Catalogue Readiness statuses directly in WooCommerce Products, product page, classic checkout, Checkout Blocks, and order emails.

Install it, open Catalogue Readiness, and start with the products that really need attention.

As of September 27, 2026, the new harmonized notice framework for the European Union’s statutory guarantee of conformity will apply.

When a commercial manufacturer’s warranty of durability exists and meets the relevant conditions, the GARAN label may also be applicable.

EU Warranty Ready uses published official materials and integrates them into WooCommerce.

EU Warranty Ready is an independent plugin. It is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed, or certified by the European Union or the European Commission. It does not provide legal advice, and its installation alone does not guarantee regulatory compliance.

Don’t review 500 products one by one

If you have a large catalog, the problem isn’t simply placing a notice.

The problem is figuring out which products are ready, which ones need attention, and exactly what’s missing from each one.

That’s what Catalogue Readiness is for.

From WooCommerce you can see:

  • which products are ready;

  • which ones need attention;

  • why they need attention;

  • what action you can take next;

  • which variations need review;

  • an overview of the catalog status.

And from the WooCommerce Products list itself, you can see the status without having to open each product.

If information is missing, you’ll see it.

If GARAN cannot be displayed, you’ll see the reason.

If a variation needs review, you can go directly to it.

For a store with dozens, hundreds, or thousands of products, this prevents catalog preparation from becoming an endless manual task.

The official harmonized notice, where the customer really needs it

EU Warranty Ready includes the official harmonized notice in the 24 official languages of the European Union.

Once configured, it can be displayed during the purchase journey using WooCommerce:

  • product page;

  • classic checkout;

  • WooCommerce Checkout Blocks;

  • HTML order emails;

  • plain text order emails.

You can also manually add it using shortcode.

The plugin can automatically select the language based on the store and visitor context.

It works with:

  • translated products;

  • variations;

  • WPML;

  • Polylang;

  • active WordPress language;

  • safe fallback to English.

And if you prefer, you can also choose a language manually.

GARAN only when applicable

Not all products need a GARAN tag.

And EU Warranty Ready doesn’t try to decide for you.

When you have a product with a commercial durability warranty that needs to be reviewed, you can configure:

  • warranty duration;

  • manufacturer or brand;

  • model identifier.

The plugin also helps you with something that’s easy to overlook: verifying that this data fits correctly within the official artwork.

If the brand name, model, or duration doesn’t fit correctly, EU Warranty Ready won’t display a distorted label.

It will indicate that the configuration needs to be reviewed first.

When the configuration is valid, GARAN can appear on:

  • product page;

  • standard checkout;

  • Checkout Blocks;

  • order emails.

The plugin’s checks assist with the technical configuration.

They do not, on their own, determine whether a warranty legally meets the necessary conditions for using GARAN.

Free means Free

EU Warranty Ready Free is not a 30-day demo or a half-locked plugin designed to force you to buy Pro.

Free 1.6.1 includes the core workflow for preparing the catalog and displaying current warranty information.
With Free you can:

  • use Catalogue Readiness;

  • view statuses directly from WooCommerce Products;

  • display the official harmonized notice;

  • configure GARAN when applicable;

  • work with products and variations;

  • use the 24 official EU languages;

  • display information on the product page;

  • use classic checkout;

  • use Checkout Blocks;

  • include information in order emails;

  • use manual placement via shortcode.

There is no artificial expiration.

There is no artificial product limit.

If Free meets your store’s needs, you can continue using it.

Everything works within your WordPress site

EU Warranty Ready Free works locally within your installation.

You don’t need to:

  • create an external account;

  • Connect your store to a SaaS panel;

  • Rely on a cloud subscription;

  • Send your catalog to EU Warranty Ready servers;

  • Send customer data to an external EU Warranty Ready service.

Your catalog and WooCommerce data remain within your WordPress installation and hosting environment.

When does Pro make sense?

When displaying current information is no longer sufficient.

Imagine that a product currently has a 5-year commercial warranty.

In six months, the manufacturer changes it to 3 years.

The current catalog will display 3 years.

But a customer who purchased six months ago placed their order when the information was different.

EU Warranty Ready Pro is designed to preserve that historical context.

Pro 1.5.0 extends this same workflow with:

  • Historical warranty records associated with the time of purchase;

  • Historical information in Thank You / received order;

  • Historical information within My Account;

  • Administrative access to the order record;

  • API integration;

  • CSV export from Catalogue Readiness;

  • GARAN bulk operations;

  • Default values by category and brand;

  • HPOS compatibility;

  • Migration of relevant settings from Free.

Pro does not replace Free.

It addresses a different problem: preserving history and working with the catalog using additional tools.

EU Warranty Ready Pro 1.5.0 is currently in preparation for commercial release and is not yet available for purchase.

Early adopters will have access to a special launch price while we gather voluntary feedback from real WooCommerce stores.

Do you find Free useful but don’t need Pro?

Perfect.

Not all users need Pro.

If you find EU Warranty Ready useful and want to support its development, you can buy the developer a coffee.

Contribution is completely optional.

It won’t unlock features.

It won’t change what you receive in Free.

And it won’t be required to continue using the plugin.

Third Party Content

EU Warranty Ready uses official materials published by the European Commission for the Harmonised Notice and GARAN.

FAQ

Is Free a demo or a trial version?

No.

Free 1.6.1 is designed to be useful on its own.

It does not expire and has no artificial product limit.

It includes Catalogue Readiness, statuses in WooCommerce Products, harmonized notification, GARAN, the 24 official languages, product page, checkout, Checkout Blocks, order emails, and shortcode.

Are there features reserved for Pro?

Yes, but Free is not artificially limited to force you to upgrade.

Free focuses on preparing the current catalog and displaying current information to the customer.

Pro adds tools for stores that need to maintain historical order information and operate the catalog at a larger scale.

Does installing EU Warranty Ready automatically make my store compliant with regulations?

No.

And I would be wary of any plugin that promises to do so.

EU Warranty Ready can do the software’s part: help you configure the information and display the official materials within WooCommerce.
A store’s specific obligations depend on its products, warranties, jurisdiction, and business practices.

This plugin does not provide legal advice or certify legal compliance.

Do I need WooCommerce?

Yes, for automatic store integrations.

EU Warranty Ready is primarily designed for WooCommerce and uses its products, variations, checkout, and emails.

Is the artwork actually the official one?

EU Warranty Ready uses the official materials published for the Harmonized Notice and GARAN.

The notice is not redrawn or replaced with a custom version.

Only the product-specific values used by the implementation are incorporated into GARAN.

Which languages are included?

The 24 official languages of the European Union.

The plugin can automatically select the language based on WordPress, WooCommerce, WPML, or Polylang.

You can also select the language manually.

Do all products need GARAN?

No.

GARAN is conditional.

EU Warranty Ready helps you review the technical configuration, but it remains the merchant’s responsibility to determine if the manufacturer’s warranty meets the corresponding conditions.

What happens if the data doesn’t fit correctly in GARAN?

The plugin validates the information before displaying the label.

If the values don’t fit correctly within the fixed geometry of the official artwork, GARAN will not be rendered.

It’s better not to display a label than to display a distorted one.

Does Free work in checkout?

Yes.

Free 1.6.1 works with both:

  • WooCommerce Classic Checkout;

  • WooCommerce Checkout Blocks.

Does Free include order emails?

Yes.

Configured information can be included in both HTML and plain text emails sent to the customer.

Does it work with variable products?

Yes.

EU Warranty Ready supports products and variations.

When applicable, a variation can use specific information or inherit valid information from the parent product.

What data leaves my site?

EU Warranty Ready and Free run locally within WordPress.

It does not require a EU Warranty Ready SaaS account and does not intentionally send customer data from WooCommerce to an external EU Warranty Ready service.

What’s the difference between Free and Pro?

Free helps you prepare the current catalog and display current warranty information.

Pro retains historical information associated with the time of purchase and adds additional tools for working with the catalog.

A simple way to think of it:

Free helps you with what’s happening now.

Pro also helps you with what happened when the order was placed.

If I switch from Free to Pro, will I lose my configuration?

You shouldn’t need to start over.

Pro is designed to migrate the relevant configuration from Free when a Pro configuration doesn’t yet exist.

The GARAN product information uses a compatible database between both versions.

Is Pro available for purchase yet?

Not yet.

Pro 1.5.0 is technically ready and in the final stages before commercial release.

Will there be an early bird offer?

Yes, that’s the plan.

Early adopters of Pro will receive a reduced launch price while we gather voluntary feedback on how the product performs in real WooCommerce stores.

Leaving a positive review will not be required to maintain this price.

Can I continue using Free even if I never buy Pro?

Yes.

If Free meets your needs, you can continue using it.

Can I support development without buying Pro?

Yes.

You can optionally contribute by buying the developer a coffee.

Contributing will not unlock features and will not change the Free version.

Is EU Warranty Ready affiliated with the European Union or WooCommerce?

No.

EU Warranty Ready is an independent product.

It is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed, or certified by the European Union, the European Commission, or WooCommerce.
