Remove all generator information on xhtml, html, rss2, atom, rdf, comments and export pages.

Current version only removes the generator metatag from the HTTP header. Future versions will remove it from the theme as well.

  1. Upload remove-generator-information to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. By default the plugin does nothing. Go to “Options” => “Remove Generator” to select where do you want to remove the generator meta tag!
