Yoodz Accessibility Toolkit helps you identify common accessibility barriers in your WordPress content and fix them step by step. It scans your posts, pages, products and homepage for issues like missing image alt text, skipped heading levels, vague link text, unlabeled form fields, tables without headers, and media without captions — then guides you through fixing them with previews and one-click undo.
What you get
- Content scanner — checks posts, pages, WooCommerce products and your homepage in small batches, so scans never time out.
- Transparent accessibility score — a 0–100 score computed openly from issue severity (10 pts per critical, 5 per serious, 2 per moderate, 1 per minor).
- Guided fixes with undo — add image alt text or adjust heading levels with a live preview; every fix stores the original so you can revert it.
- Accessibility statement generator — build an editable statement page (or use the
[yoodzat_statement]shortcode) from your organization details. - Manual review checklist — the human checks automated tools can’t do: keyboard navigation, focus visibility, contrast, screen-reader passes.
- Frontend helpers — optional skip-to-content link and focus-visible styles (both on by default, both can be disabled).
- Bulk media alt-text editor — review and fix missing alt text for every image in your media library from one screen.
- CSV export — download any filtered set of scan results as a spreadsheet-ready CSV file.
- Privacy-first — everything runs on your own server. The plugin makes zero external HTTP requests: no tracking, no CDNs, no third-party services.
An honest note
Automated checks catch only part of what makes a site accessible. Yoodz Accessibility Toolkit helps you work toward WCAG 2.2 / EN 301 549 conformance — it cannot guarantee legal compliance with any accessibility law, and it is not legal advice. For regulated requirements, consult a qualified accessibility professional.

FAQ
-
Does this plugin make my site legally compliant?
-
No — and no automated tool can honestly promise that. Yoodz Accessibility Toolkit helps you find and fix common barriers and work toward WCAG 2.2 / EN 301 549 conformance, and it generates a statement template reflecting your self-assessed status. For legal requirements (such as the EU Accessibility Act or the ADA), consult a qualified accessibility professional.
-
How is the accessibility score calculated?
-
The score starts at 100 and subtracts points for each open issue: 10 per critical, 5 per serious, 2 per moderate, 1 per minor issue. It is a rough progress indicator, not a compliance grade. The formula is shown on the dashboard.
-
Will scans slow down my site?
-
Scans run in small batches from the admin area and store results in the database, so visitors never feel them. An optional weekly automatic scan can be enabled in Settings Scanner.
-
Does the plugin send any data anywhere?
-
No. Yoodz Accessibility Toolkit makes zero external HTTP requests. All scanning, storage and reporting happen on your own server.
-
Can I undo a fix?
-
Yes. Every automatic fix stores the original value. Open the issue from Scan Results and choose “Review / Undo” to restore it.
-
Does it work with WooCommerce?
-
Yes. If WooCommerce is active, products are included as a scannable content type.
-
How do I delete all plugin data?
-
Enable “Delete data on uninstall” (on by default) under Settings General, then uninstall the plugin. You can also delete just the scan data under Settings Tools.

1.1.2
- Renamed the statement shortcode from
[equalaccess_statement]to[yoodzat_statement]to complete the rebrand away from the old name. - Fixed admin styles and scripts not loading on the plugin’s sub-pages (screen hook suffixes are now resolved dynamically, so a menu-title rename can’t break them again).
1.1.1
- Renamed to “Yoodz Accessibility Toolkit” with longer
yoodzat_/YOODZAT_prefixes for all functions, classes, options, hooks, and database tables (per WordPress.org review requirements). - Admin menu now labeled “Accessibility”.
